DIRFT III Rail Freight Terminal and Infrastructure

Main terminal drainage and duct installations which were part of a New Rail Terminal Project at Daventry International Rail Freight Terminal.

OVERVIEW
The project included an under track drainage throughout the 800m yard section and groundworks for the main terminal building.

We were also engaged to carry out diversion of an existing water course as part of the installation of a new bridging structure.


The involved excavating the diversion and installing a temporary access route across the water course to enable the client to continue works on the other side of the brook.

This had to be completed under supervision from the Environment agency and was completed within the constraints of the permit to the satisfaction of the client.
